Northeast Midstream LP is an Ontario-based partnership that builds and owns energy infrastructure for new and unserved markets. The partners and management have extensive experience in developing, building, owning, and financing capital-intensive projects and have demonstrated strong and effective leadership executing major initiatives with discipline and prudence. Northeast Midstream LP is managed by its general partner, Northeast Midstream Corp.
Joshua Samuel is a founding partner of Northeast Midstream LP and serves as president of its general partner. Previously, Joshua was Vice-President of Strategy and Business Development for a clean energy firm held by Emera Inc. and a technology transfer manager specializing in energy systems at the University of New Brunswick. Joshua has originated a wide range of leading-edge projects, including LNG production and vaporization facilities, low-carbon power generation, power-to-gas systems, hydrogen injection into natural gas pipelines, and distributed energy networks. Joshua holds a BA from McGill University, an MA from the University of Toronto, and an MBA from the University of New Brunswick.
Gary Cousin has been head of project execution for Northeast Midstream from March 2013 to present. Since 1996, Gary has served as project manager and technical advisor for several natural gas midstream and pipeline companies as principal of Absolute Control Inc. Previously, Gary worked as Director of Installation and Service for Enox Technologies Inc., and was employed by Enbridge/ Algonquin Gas Transmission as Manager Compression and Manager Tech Services. Early in his career, he worked for Petro-Canada in Montreal as a Refinery Project Engineer. Gary holds a BSME from Lafayette College and an MBA from Boston University.
